In general, you cannot use an FTP server as a remote data source over the web, yet. :)

I believe he is asking that you zip your app and FTP it to him for evaluation. You can also download the files you need from him via FTP. You could with a little work set up your app to download data, modify it in your app, then send it back using the classes Nadia suggested.
