For w2k temp files are generally under 'Document and Settings' - UserName - 'Local settings\Temp' dir. You can get actual location from VFP :
? Sys(2023)

However being a little paranoiac while playing with a form if I code long enough to worth a saving I close and reopen the form (possibly saving a temp copy to another dir or zip at that moment). I got my lesson especially working with activex you don't need to have a power failure to lose form. Cumbersome during working but thinking what I lost not doing this in past I learned to live with it.
VSS is another helper for me. Generally it's open also and I checkin frequently.
