I've had a problem with the Windows pad in the past; it does things I don't always want, and I am not successful with using it just to list open forms in my applications.

I therefore created a class which I drop on to each form of the application. This creates a pad (optionally) captioned 'Windows' with a popup showing form captions open. The pad disappears when no forms are open.

This way I am able to dispense with the default Window pad.

I have amended it slightly to allow entries in the popup to be modified for each form individually - as per your last request. If you are interested, I can package it up and send it to you. Because I'm not clever like these other guys, you will get the code as well!
