If you select Cancel on the VSS dialog that pops up inside VFP you'll have a read-only copy to view. It's not the most intuitive interface, but that's the way it works.
>A question: Is it required to "check-out" a source object that is "checked-in" to Source Safe simply to view (i.e., NOT modify) the object?? Idealy, I would hope I could open my local copy of the Visual FoxPro project, and see the code in PRGs, SCXs, etc. that are checked-into Source Safe without first having to check them out.
