If you select Cancel on the VSS dialog that pops up inside VFP you'll have a read-only copy to view. It's not the most intuitive interface, but that's the way it works.

Idealy, I would hope I could open my local copy of the Visual FoxPro project, and see the code in PRGs, SCXs, etc. that are checked-into Source Safe without first having to check them out.
