Oh yeah, I just noticed that you wanted to use the builder. If you want to do that, I believe you have to create a temporary table of the same structure to do it, like you mentioned (others will let you know if I'm wrong). I never use the builder but I think the only thing that you would have to change after running it is the grid.recordsource and set the grid.recordsourcetype=1. See my previous post on setting the recordsource during runtime.
