Right-click in the editor window, then 'Properties' and change the font in that dialog box. It will be stored in your resource file, and if you check the 'Save preferences' box and 'Default for ...' the font will be used every time.

In VFP the default font is 'file based'. If you set the font in a .PRG, it will be stored only for PRG's. You'll have to set the font for every type of code you write.
