Are you sure you don't have Form2 set as AlwaysOnTop = .t.? Can you bring form1 on top by clicking it with the mouse? Did you step through the code in the debugger and see if the search loop was finding it? It was written to look for the form by it's .Name value.

It sounds like you have one of your forms closing the tables that the other form is using. What .DataSession are on your forms?
