Kevin,
You can count on me here, remote/local views are better solutions short or long term. Our hospital system have at least 3,000 average invoices daily and it is Grid intensive system because users wants record info to be viewed at a glance, and we use Views and considering that it is a VFP database yet. Anyways, performance is not a big problem because we applied the RUSHMORE technology.
