Hi Vlad,

I have just spent 10 minutes trying to re-create the problem and managed it once.. I have no idea why it did it.. the combo box was no different to any other in the sytem and I can't reproduce the problem again (my mouseclick finger hurts).
I suspect I may have a object reference hanging round as I do occasionally get a C5 error after a form crashes.. maybe this problem is related to that.

Don't spend any more time on this.. It seems to be one of those irritating hard to find ones.

Thanks a lot for your assistance

Will

P.S. I did the same as you.. created a new form with fox base controls and could not reproduce the problem.. so I think it must be something i'm doing wrong...

I remember I met the same problem, however, I do not remember now how it was disappeared. If you can make a simple form that shows the behavior, I will very appreciate it. Probably this comes from the subclassing or some code in some event.
