It is quite commmon for our users to step on each other's toes with regards to records, so I was thinking of using pessimistic buffering so that it will lock them out of the record when they try to amend it - they can spend up to about 1/2 hour populating memo fields, and get rather upset when the standard Record in Use message appears!
