I hope your tongue was firmly in your cheek when you made that post!
Yes, I am a feminist, but I hope not so rabidly as to flame men indiscriminately. I am not the first to call Mr Bill either a megalomanic or egocentric. I doubt if I am even the first to use both epithets concurrently. What would you have said if Tom, Scott, Michel, or any of the "guys" had made such a remark?
I am not against individual men -- some of my best friends are men and I did not acquire my son through adoption, artificial insemination, parthenogenesis, immaculate conception or any other "non-traditional" method <eg>
What angers me is the imbalance of power that discriminates against non-white, non-(upper)middle class, non-heterosexual, non-"judao-christian", non-male populations. I oppose such power wherever possible, on a personal, political and social front.
So, if the cap fits, wear it. I'd rather not fight or flame though, I am a peaceful warrior. I prefer not to fight while there are alternatives.
