I've tried the following syntax with copyfile with the understanding that it was valid: (from the command line)

? copyfile("c:\test.txt","LPT1",0)

However, this fails each time I try it. Does the CopyFile API inherantly know that the string "LPT1" refers to the port or is that something that has to be defined beforehand? If it has to be defined, where and how?

(I'm currently running on a Win98 machine but need also to have this working on a Win2k machine).

P.S. The whole idea is that I have a my LPT1 port captured to a Novell print queue. Sending the file directly to the print queue works fine.
