Ok, just tested wwXML and I get the same error message. I also checked the problem field's status and it's an overflow (6). Apparently wwxml does not produce exactly the same schema information for every field than the Save method does.

The same table saved through the recordset object does return the field values just fine. For the specific field I got the error message, the schema information from wwxml is missing some attributes present in the "good" xml.

So I guess this doesn't help you a lot but I would say it's a problem with wwxml and not with ADO. Generate the XML both ways so you can compare the files and see what I am talking about.
