I have an app that has been running for two years. We did a lot of data manipulation outside the app and now the EXE no longer runs. I get an error message on my login form:

Error loading file - record number 4. . Loading form or data environment: Record is out of range.

Or it may say that the index no longer matches the table--delete the index and re-build.

BUT: When I run an older version of the EXE, everything opens just fine. And when I run the app from within VFP (5.0), it runs just fine. I have validated the database, removed the table from the form (only one table is opened in the DE for this form) and re-added it, made minor changes to the form and re-compiled. Nothing makes the error go away except to use a previous EXE version.

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
