finally I did it now! Thanks for your help and reply! I was having some typo in the code LOL

once I set the recordsource to the new table, ALL layout config of the grid is messed up, are there any way to avoid from changing other settings when I set the recordsource?

I know I can code the layout setting every time I update the table, just want to know if there is any smarter way :)
