In addition to learning Visual FoxPro, I would strongly suggest looking into and using a product like Visual MaxFrame Professional, Visual FoxExpress, etc. This will allow your team to develop applications and use the expertise of those who create strong development tools to do what they do best. Such an approach will make development less stressful and you would be surprised what it can do to help you stay within budget and make a profit!
