it is not either of those. you know how you can press alt+d to compile? well, if you are in the form designer, you can also press ctrl+w which saves the event method you are editing and returns you to the form. if you are at the form designer and press ctrl+w, the form is saved and you return to the project manager. it is this functionality that i have lost.
