I have just been working with web connect from West-wind for the last week. Never having worked with web development software in any meaningful way, I have been able to:

1) build a logon screen that validates the userid and password
2) create a menu for task selections
3) build screens which allow for a customer list from which you can double click on the customer number and see all customer information
4) get a list of invoices for the selected customer then click on the invoice
number and drilled down into the line items for the selected invoice
5) get a list of open orders for the selected customer then click on the order
number and drill down into the line items for the selected order
6) select a customer, calculate the aging for all open invoices and display the
invoices. Allow the user to click on the invoice number and drill down into
the line items of the invoice

I'm not that good. This tool makes it that easy.

This is by far the easiest software development tool I have ever used. I'm running personal web server on a WIN2K machine. The help is great, has examples and really helps you get your feet of the ground.

Try the free download of web connect 3.6 you will find it really makes web development easy. If you don't like web connect, try www.AFPweb.com or foxweb.

Good luck
