I've always envied programmers who tracked workareas for their work
force or whatever was the proper expression. With SQL inventing and
forgetting its temporary workareas, and Create Cursor and other stuff,
tracking them by alias name was tricky enough. Keeping track of "what
was open in what workarea" seems quite unfeasible to me.
Besides, having seven tables open, and finding "Select 5" several dozen
lines away from "Select 5 --- Use ThisDbf" was always a nightmare for
me. Not in my routines (I've always used aliases), though, but had to
maintain some others at times.
