Call us crazy fools but our engineers have just installed Metaframe XP on 3 servers with load balancing and Ive got a couple of problems with my Large foxpro applications (They never think of us programmers).....No please dont stop reading !

I have been experiencing "Attempting to Lock" messages and "Error Reading Files" all over the place.

The software is written in VFP 5 and has been running on Novell, NT, Winframe servers fine for a couple of years its just this new version of Metaframe that seems to be causing problems.

Has anyone got any ideas,
obviously increasing file locks isnt an issue as its not novell, I have experienced "error reading files" when loosing network connections. But this (I think) isnt the case here.

Give me any ideas you have, even blaming it on the weather is good (Ive tried that!)
