You're right, I must remember that when a REPLACE command does not save it usually means that I am not on the record I think that I am on. Once I took care of the EOF()condition which was not on any record, I was able to make my code work as it was designed to work. I don't think I will ever forget this. This isn't the first time that REPLACE gave me trouble for the same EOF() reason. It if happened more often, I might be able to remember for next time. I hope I never forget again. Thanks.
