Microsoft SQL Server
Hello,
I was trying to install SQL Server 2000 Developer Edition on a (test) server and it hung in the middle of the install. After a leaving it for a long time, I had to kill the task. When I tried to re-install it says "A previous program installation created pending file operations on the installation machine. You must restart the cmoputer before running setup.". I've rebooted several times and retried, but I continually get that same message. I tried to use "Remove Programs", but it says the uninstall file cannot be found. I looked for it in the path shown in the message, and sure enough it is not there. So, how does one remove a program that doesn't want to remove so it can be re-installed?
Thanks.
