Well, then that is certainly interesting...I didn't try it, but I consider your word to be good :). I guess that provides a workaround path for someone that needs to search for a long string.

Did you CC Tom (I assume this is a feature he is looking for, unless he is just on a bug hunt...)

Speaking of bug hunts, I have seen something pretty weird in the parking lot of my office bldg. There is a guy that drives around in a pickup shining a spot light around outside his truck. Sometimes he shakes the light quickly. One time I saw him shining the light on the ground for a few seconds, then he blew some sort of horn. He got out one time, and walked through the bushes and was shining the light into a tree, shaking the light.

I've seen him here on 2 evenings in the last week. I didn't call the cops :). I will certainly have to ask bldg mgmt...it is pretty funny looking.
