That exactly what I do... I gave up trying to hide Fox, hoping that Corprorate will soon come to realize how heavily they depend on it. And Why I'm at, here's my scenario on this:

Owners: We Need a New Inventory System of Reports to do what the Unix boxes cant.
Programmer(me): Whats it need to do?
Owners: Oh just Join 5 killer tables together and follow this list 30+ business rules.
Programmer: No Problem, When do you need it?
Owners: Last Month
Programmer: Does this project have more priority over the last 10 things you requested?
Owners: No.
Programmer: Well then it should be done sometime next year.
Owners: What? Cant you just do it in Access and get it done quicker?
Programmer: Nope
Owners: Why Not?
Programmer: How many Pagers we got online now?
Owners: (quite proud) Over 5 Million Now!
Programmer: Well knock that down to less than 30,000 and then we can do it in Access.
(2 weeks later the phone rings)
Owners: Is our New Inventory System of Reports coming soon? No? WEll then forget it we'll just do it in Excel for now.
(2 weeks later)
Owners: (groveling) Please Roxanne.... please tell us you still have the new Inventory System we requested on your To Do List?
(a few more weeks pass by)
Programmer: Here's the Inventory System of Reports you requested. Review them and tell me what you'd like to change. (hands them 3 reports each over 500 pages long)
Owners: (looking quite pale) uhhhh... did you check and verify this? Why didnt we do it in Access? Wouldnt that of made these reports alot shorter?
Programmer: Beer Please?
