I haven't personally converted Access to MSDE but I have converted other types. MSDE, like SQL Server, includes Data Transformation Service (DTS) which has built-in connection capability to Access databases. A potential problem you might encounter is in the conversion of date and time datatypes. I've had this problems with some database types but I've never tried Access, it may convert without difficulty.

You will find information on DTS in the SQL Server documentation.
