Hi,

I have compiled a multi-threaded COM server into a DLL using VFP 6.0. By distributing the DLL amongst various users, all had no problems registering it except for the guy with Windows 98. Since I do all my development on a Windows 2000 machine, I took the DLL to a spare Windows 98 machine and tried the regsvr32 command to register it, and get the following error message reported by RegSvr32:

DllRegisterServer in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\uvtrplnk.dll failed.
Return code was: 0x80004005

Can anybody shed any light why this is only occurring on Windows 98?

Thanks.
