I worked on a big FoxPro system that offered both options.

The Clear option was very appreciated by clients, especially because the use to open dozens of forms and after that they can't find their way through them. :) So, a Clear "solves" the problem! :) It's also useful when doing demos to clients: you fill the screen with forms and it's a fast way of clearing everything when they say: "Can you show me this once again?"

The Cascade is almost useless (in my opinion) and I never saw a client using it (btw, the windows are not resized when cascaded in this system). I use a lot the Arrange All option in word processing and other apps, but I don't see a use for it in a VFP app with forms.
