I was unable to get to about 2/3 of my normal Internet sites (a mixture of technical & news-related sites) for about 2 hours this morning. I arrived at work here in the Salt Lake City (MST) area around 8:00am and discovered that many many sites were unreachable.
I got the distinct impression that some big backbone fiber or hub had crashed.
