I have some binary data stored as an 'image' field in a SqlServer table and I use SPT in VFP6 to access this. VFP6 seems to always convert this to a 'general' field which creates problems when I want to update the data and send it back.
I would love to have this come in as Memo(binary) or even plain Memo. Any ideas?
I tried creating a view and changing the mapping to Memo(binary) and it worked. Unfortunately, I have too many variations in my 'where' clause to use 'views' and so I am disregarding this option.
