Interesting...a case of MS telling people what that shouldn't be able to do.
From the KB article:
"You cannot directly change an item's From field using any programming methods in Microsoft Exchange or Outlook. If you could, mail could be sent on someone else's behalf without their permission, therefore the From field is read-only."
Gimme a break. Anyone can change their profile in Outlook to be sending email as someone else. Furthermore, directly using SMTP or the sendmail program always allows you to designate who the mail is coming from, even if it is "on someone else's behalf without their permission"
