I've been approached to build a database that is to have links to GRAPHIC files on a Macintosh. The problem that I'm having is that we intend to use M$ SQL as a backend and I cannot find any documentation on ODBC drivers that will facilitate intergrating the MAC VFP with M$ SQL.

Also does anybody know if VFP 5.0 is available on a MAC. There is a system memory variable _MAC in VFP 5.0 but I'm not sure if this is just for backward compatibility purposes or what?

Has sombody used VFP on a MAC, if so is it any good? What are the issues to watch out for?

I understand that VFP 3.0b is available on a MAC. Is it the same as the PC version? Apparently
the MAC stuff uses different version numbers from that of th PC.

Can anybody help???

Thanks
