Hi Jim,

Is this a CDX or an IDX?

Have you tried SET ORDER TO TAG fdsidx?

Does anyone else use the table at any time?

Is there any chance at all that something somewhere has that DBF's CDX hardcoded in it and is using it too? Or do you ever fiddle with that CDX elsewhere?

>I have a stand alone table. I will open the table, set order to 1, then browse. I get an error of : 'Index does not match the table. Delete the index file and re-create the index.' I then delete tag all, index on a+b+c tag fdsidx, set order to 1, then browse then it is okay; until I leave again and open it up and set the order and browse again. I will get the error again. What could be the problem and how do I fix it. The data doesn't look corrupt. I even re-created a new table from scratch and appended the data just in case the header was corrupted.
