I have a copy of that book. I think I also have VFP 5 from the above mentioned author - and that book also makes a good door stop.

Look at the bright side.

The VFP 7.0 book will be published on September 1, 2001. You can rate the book - NOW - 1 to 5. That seems fair enough. Do they have a minus scale? After all, I have nothing to go by except previous offerings. In all fairness I should be allowed to vote.

These types of books have been with us for a while. I remember one author who had credits for FoxPro 2.5. When FP 2.6 was released - the cover changed and the contend remained the same. The author was given credit for two published FoxPro books. Some VFP books are "lacking" in technical content while others are great.

Another positive - the more VFP 7.0 books that are published the better - at least in my mind.
