I have set up several forms like this. It also helps if you use the buttons from the wizard class that autmatically move through any table attached to a form. They allow adds, edits and deletes and ms wrote all the code for you already.

Visual MaxFrame is a public domain framework that contains a .PRG that does what you're looking for (X3CKCHEK.PRG). You can get it at www.maxlink.com. I use the commercial version (US $349), and highly reccomend it.
