Yea. I watched, for instance, as the thread quoting the "Why should I do my development in VFP instead of. . ." and the usual suspects were leading the charge of ridicule.

They turned a statement that had existed for a long time on a MS site into "see, it been being marketed for years" bunch of crap. They failed to see the irony that, being unaware of that themselves, even they had paid little attention (allowing, politely, that they noticed it in the first place). Most of all, though, as usual, the fact that whats being looked for is NOT preaching to the converted but attracting new adherents, is totally missed.

I've decided to stop participating in that kind of noise and to stick with those more like-minded on the issue.
