The XMLDOM has be so dynamic over the past year that I doubt any published book would be up-to-date. If you have access to the MSDN Library Subscription there is a reasonable set of documentation there. I just went up to the MSDN site and didn't have any trouble getting to the PEM documentation. Try again.
