>She has a great writer. Since the concept of the show is a mix of Millionaire and Survivor, They really need to incorporate immunity as well after the first few rounds. The player who is statistically the best for the entire game should be immune from elimination for the round just completed. Then recalculate that stat for each round thereafter. I would also throw into that calculation how much they bank [which could actaully be a penalty for frivolity].

That (immunity) would spoil the entire show, especially in the later rounds, where the strategy is to increase your own chances of winning & dumping the strongest link is the way to go. It would make it more of a run-of-the-mill quiz show, where the person who knows most wins, without immunity its more capricious.

Lack of immunity keeps it more like real life - just because you did well on your last job doesnt guarantee you promotion or immunity from demotion because you've screwed up the current job. It's all down to whether your ability is seen as an asset (which it is at the beginning of the game or your job) or a threat (whhich it is at the end of the game or the higher up you are promoted).

One of the things that makes the show is watching the change in tactics from beginning to end.

(PS - not having seen the US version, I am assuming that it is essentially the same as the UK version).
