With respect to building COM Components, I am not surprised at this. After all, .Net is moving away from components. The only MS development tool that is going to play in that sandbox is VFP. If building COM Components in VB was still the strategic focus of the VB product, you can bet this text would not appear in the VFP web site..

Gee, this must be a hoax, Craig. As I've read so often around here, Microsoft would never, ever do anything that might encourage the use of VFP over VB.
