I use ToDo+ from HandsHigh Software and a To Do replacement. Mostly because I can put an alarm on any to do. It also allows you to display To Do's based upon the relationship between the To Do date and the current day's date. You might check it out (www.handshigh.com)

OTOH, you might just do something radical like set realistic deadlines for your To Do's... nah, it'd never work. :)
