This could turn into a theology class or even a holy war by answering such a question. I use and have used a number of application frameworks, since the first one was released - Codebook, in 1995. Each one has it’s good and not so good points.
One thing I look for is support via the Internet – who has it, amount of activity and quality of the forum. Seems like you have narrowed it down to two. The final decision is yours and I can only say do your homework. They are all good products - not just the two mentiioned – some easier to use than others and will provide quicker results.
I advocate an application framework as opposed to developing one in house. In my mind it is better to let someone else develop the framework and let me write the application. Doing both is dangerous – unless you have an open budget and no time restrains.
