>I am a new Foxpro developer and I want to add a text box in my form go get a date from the user. I have set the format property to "E" and CENTURY setting is ON. Still I don't get the 4 digit century when I enter the date in the text box. Am I missing something?

Yashodhan,
Are you getting no date style entry or just century part problem ?
First set century is scoped to current data session. If your form is using private data session (Datasession property) be sure you have 'set century' in form.load or dataenvironment beforeopentables.
Then if your textbox has no controlsource set value to {} (empty date).
