Check for a virus - I think there was one recently that did something similar to this. Also, regarding backups - if you have a good backup plan in process, there's very little chance of not being able to recover at least some of your code. At least backup weekly (to a different tape/CD each week). If you backup to CD, make sure you choose a low writing speed for extra safety.

METHODS LOST from CLASSES? and NO. its not easy to continuously backing up classes. and who knows if you are backing up errors? like if i were backing up religeously, i would have backedup this error also and then the backup would also be error. so disappointing. i will have to start many things from scratch. and they say, i am doing something great. bullshit.
