>thanks for your support. but no. i lost my methods. and this is SCARY. is this how are we to develop software? METHODS LOST from CLASSES? and NO. its not easy to continuously backing up classes. and who knows if you are backing up errors? like if i were backing up religeously, i would have backedup this error also and then the backup would also be error. so disappointing. i will have to start many things from scratch. and they say, i am doing something great. bullshit.

Hi,
this problem occurs sometimes. As I remember it happens if you have a class - structur with a deep more than two classes. Normally (not allways) it will happen if you openn a child, close the child open the base. No the methods seems to be empty. Do not alter anything, close the class, do not save. Enter CLEAR ALL in "Command Window". Reopen the base. Now the methods should be there.

If you have saved ::( the job is to look for a backup (fastest way) or to hack the vcx. Backup vcx! Everytime you save a class from the designer, you add a complete set of records describing your class to the vcx. Old records will be deleted - but they are still in the table. Check if you can delete the old structure you easalie may delete the new and recall the old.

By the way, better an error in the backup as nothing ...
