Version 7 is a great upgrade. There are a lot of new features that will really come in handy over time, especially Intellisense, which will immediately boost your productivity (after you stop typing SET STEP ON ON - lol - beta users will know what I mean there).

Ultimately the decision to upgrade is yours, depending on your situation. Why not go to the product website (msdn.microsoft.com\vfoxpro) and read over the new features?
