Just looking for some general ideas, comments.
I'm doing a mailmerge from vfp to a word document and the formatting is problematic.
If I have a line that contains both normal text and a merged field from the table it seems to throw things off, sometimes word-wrapping text to the next line.
As an example:
Name: <
> Hip#: <>
^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^
The text and data for Hip number can show up anywhere, even on the next line.
The horse's name can be anywhere from 3 to 21 characters and that seems to me to be the problem.
It doesn't seem to matter if I allow what I think is more than enough space between the first merged field and whatever is typed next.
I've been able to make it work, I was just wondering if this is a common experience.
