>I'd tend to agree but who really knows at this point. As I mentioned to JVP in my reply to him I'd think some fines, oversight and perhaps a few restrictions that usually turn out to be meaningless like don't bundle IE5 with Win95. <g>
Doug;
I only know what I read therefore I am dangerous! Well, I know a little bit more from experience – I think? A student once said: "I think I think, therefore I think I am.
Seems like Windows Operating Systems as of late are closely coupled to the I.E. Browser – that is there is internal code within the operating system and browser and associated dll’s that are dependant upon each other.
When loading a number of Microsoft Software packages – I have gotten the message – I.E. XX required. Why? I removed the I.E. Browser from a number of my machines at different times. After reinstalling the I.E. Browser – the software installed properly. There is much that I do not know and the media only tends to misinform.
