I'm not going to get into the discussion of whether this is a good thing or not. I just wanted to comment on that "biggest mysteries" part. I think you need to read the threads more. :) This work-around has been discussed publically many times for as long as I can remember. Whenever a BUTM said something about not being able to search, someone would tell them how to do it. No mystery there. :)
