Well, I really went and screwed up this time. I volunteered to do some research and come up with recommendations for an enterprise-wide electronic data dictionary. This will be used across DBMS' (i.e. x-Base, SQL-Server, Oracle) and platforms (MS Win 9x/NT/2k, Unix).

So the first place I came to was the UT.

My request:
I'm looking for recommendations on data dictionary packages, that you've had personal experience with;

or

Features you've found useful in a large-scale data dictionary product (even if the product itself was less than desireable).
