Since this is a container, there is no Cancel or Default property like a normal command button has. Is there a way to add this functionality to this class?

The commandbutton class has a lot of functionality that is difficult/impossible to replicate with a container... why do you feel the need to create a custom button class. If you want to add/change some functionality of the commandbutton, you're probably better off modifying a subclass of the commandbutton class. Tell us what end result you're looking for.
