>Anyway, the Evelyn Woods course requires two hours of reading a night if anyone is interested in technique. If you've got two hours a night to devote to reading, you're going to get faster whether you're in a course or not.
Pete,
In my homemaker days I "inhaled" books, and most were from the non-fiction "new book" shelf at our neighborhood branch library. Whenever the kids had to do a book report I always snitched the book and read it so I could help them later. They were impressed when I read Lord of the Flies in two hours.
Some women can't go past a gift or antique shop whithout stopping in - well, I can't go past a library. When we went to the beach (Myrtle Beach, SC) I discovered that the Public Library there would let you check out books with your home library card. Who but a bookworm would ever discover that?
